We’re proud to share that Elevator Pitch, our Munich Helles, just brought home a Silver Medal at @bestfloridabeer Oktoberfest Competition!
Sometimes simple is the hardest thing to get right. That’s the idea behind this beer. Just like selling yourself or an idea quickly and clearly, a Helles takes finesse, balance, and a clean landing.
Elevator Pitch delivers grainy, honey-like malt character with just enough noble hop restraint to keep it crisp and refreshing. It’s our pitch to you: our take on a classic Munich Helles brewed with care and tradition in mind.
On Saturday, September 27 at 6 PM, Buffy and the Slayers take over the Beer Garden with a full-on 90s rock tribute.

It’s 90s - Y2K nostalgia turned up. Grab a pint and come sing along.
Festbier Friday!
Our Festbier is fresh on tap and ready for you. Golden in the glass with layers of fresh bread, cracker, and a touch of honeyed grain, it’s balanced by noble hops that add floral tones and a crisp finish. Bitterness stays in check, letting the malt shine without ever feeling heavy.
This beer is ready for stein-hoisting season, so come grab one and put your strength to the test. And if you really want to show off those skills, the official US Stein Hoisting Competition happens at GCB during Oktoberfest next weekend!
Prost!

Hey GCB fans,
Zac here with a special travel edition post. I thought you might like a behind the scenes look at some of our beer journeys.
Last week the production team headed up to North Carolina for some industry events. Our first stop was @riverbendmalt , our favorite malt supplier, where they were hosting their customer appreciation pig roast. We make it a point to visit Riverbend and some of their farms about once a year. It’s always a great experience to see where so much of the grain we use is grown and malted, and even better to share the day with the folks who make it happen.
From there, we made our way to a few breweries that always inspire us. We stopped at @sierranevadanc for the classics, shared a few at @fontaflorabrew, and visited the recently reopened @zillicoahbeer. They did a stellar job rebuilding after the hurricanes, and it was great to see our friends back in action.
Another highlight of the trip was catching up with old friends, including Tegan, who many of you will remember from Hawthorne Bottle Shop. She’s now running @happyvalleyfillingstation in Lenoir, NC, where they’re making and serving up excellent beer and pizza.
Trips like this refill the tank for our team. Great beer, good people, and community experiences that remind us why we fell in love with this industry in the first place.
Cheers,
Zac
Join us Sunday, Septmber 21 for a day of live music in the Beer Garden.

MVP (Maple Vanilla Pumpkin-spice Mild) is here and kicking off the first of our fall beer releases!
This English-style mild is layered with maple syrup, vanilla, and pumpkin spice, with a subtle hint of smoke that ties it all together.
Ready for your first sip of fall? It’s on draft now.
On Saturday, September 20 at 6 PM, we welcome Drunken Shrubbery to the Beer Garden.
Arguably one of Tampa Bay’s best Celtic folk and pub band, Drunken Shrubbery brings the energy of a proper Irish session straight to St. Pete. Formed in 2022 by Bryan and Matt, longtime collaborators who bonded over a love of Irish pub music, the group soon grew with the addition of Tim from the D20 Band. United by a shared passion for both music and Monty Python, the name came naturally: a shrubbery, of course… a nice one. But not too expensive. And with a nod to their other favorite pastime, enjoying a fine pint.
Expect a lively night of Celtic folk tunes, pub singalongs, and plenty of good humor. See you in the Beer Garden!
The @stpetechamber stopped by today for an event with local business owners and chamber members. Stories were shared, the positive impact of the SunRunner was highlighted, and plenty of good company was enjoyed.
If you’re looking for a private event space, we’re always happy to host. Email [email protected]
Friday, September 19 at 7 PM, fan favorite Hot Tonic Orchestra returns to the beer garden. Led by Victoria Woods and Josh Hindmarsh, this powerhouse group features a rotating cast of top-tier musicians and delivers a sound that’s been described as Postmodern Jukebox meets Amy Winehouse. Expect jazz fused with Latin rhythms, funk, and soul, all wrapped in fresh, original arrangements.
