At Grand Central Brewhouse, our Brew Good program exemplifies our commitment to making a difference. We partner with local non-profits, dedicating 15% of sales from three featured beers each month to support various charities. One standout is The Peninsular, a German Pilsner, which continues its successful collaboration with Tampa Bay Watch through the “Beer for the Bay” initiative. Stop by the taproom to explore which craft beers are supporting local causes this month and join us in our mission to give back.
As a leading brewery in St. Petersburg FL, Grand Central Brewhouse takes environmental responsibility seriously. We’ve aligned with St. Petersburg’s green energy goals by incorporating energy-efficient designs and green construction methods into our building. Our 10.65 kW solar energy system, featuring 30 solar panels, significantly cuts CO2 emissions, making a positive environmental impact equivalent to planting thousands of trees or saving tens of thousands of gallons of gasoline. We also offer bike racks, an EV charging station, and skylights in our production area, reinforcing our commitment to sustainability.
Impact on the Local Economy Grand Central Brewhouse plays a vital role in supporting the local economy as a prominent craft beer brewery. We create jobs, attract tourists, and contribute to the vibrant culture of St. Petersburg. By hosting events and promoting local partnerships, we generate a positive economic ripple effect that benefits local businesses and artisans. When you visit our taproom, you’re not just enjoying top-notch craft beers; you’re also helping to boost the neighborhood’s prosperity.
Join us at Grand Central Brewhouse, where every sip of our craft beer supports our Brew Good initiative, embraces sustainability, and fuels the local economy. Cheers to making a difference with every pint!

Want to play a game?
Matt hid our very last 2025 Oktoberfest stein somewhere in St. Pete.
Find it, take a selfie with it, and tag us in your post. Then bring it to the brewery for a free fill on us.
Happy hunting and good luck finding the final stein!
On Saturday, October 11, from 6 to 10 PM, the Ben Rogers Band takes the stage at Grand Central Brewhouse.
This four-piece out of St. Petersburg blends alt-rock roots with southern rock grit, soul-drenched melodies, and blues-soaked guitar work. Think the energy of Green Day and My Chemical Romance colliding with the spirit of Skynyrd, the Allman Brothers, Otis Redding, and Hendrix.
With Ben Rogers on guitar and vocals, Jackson Kelly on drums, Brennan Kelly on bass, and Mason Hawk on piano, the band delivers a sound that’s powerful, diverse, and unmistakably their own.
Dueling Pianos returns to Grand Central Brewhouse on Friday, October 10 at 7 PM. It’s a high-energy night of singalongs, crowd requests, and spontaneous fun as two talented pianists go head to head. They’ll be taking your song requests all night and accepting donations, so come ready to get involved. No cover, no reservations required, just great beer, great music, and a guaranteed good time.
We’re still buzzing from how incredible SkaFest Vol. 3 was back in August. Between that and the Halfway There After Party, an idea started brewing that we couldn’t shake, so we’re making it happen!
Halfway to SkaFest: Lager’s Not Dead Vol. 3.5 will take place on Skaturday, March 14, as part of Tampa Bay Beer Week. The lineup features four incredible bands: Bargain Bin Heroes, Rude Square, Chilled Monkey Brains, and New Rulers!
We’ll be pouring a wide variety of fresh lagers all day, setting up tents to keep things cool, and bringing in a few vendors for the celebration. Mark your calendars and get ready for another great day of ska, lagers, and community in the beer garden!

Oktoberfest was everything we hoped for and more. The music, the food, the stein hoisting, the crowds, it all came together for one incredible weekend. As expected, the 2025 steins sold out fast...
Or so we thought.
Turns out Matt uncovered eight more steins that somehow got lost in the chaos of the weekend. So if we accidentally lied to you and said we were sold out, now’s your chance to grab one, but you’ll have to act fast. They’re available now in the taproom, and once these last few are gone, that’s truly it. Prost!
Sunday, October 12 from 3-5 PM, join us for Pints & Pumpkins with Practically Pikasso!
Choose your ceramic pumpkin shape at the event, then make it your own with seasonal glazes and creative designs. Your finished piece will be kiln-fired and ready for pickup at Practically Pikasso one week later, just in time to decorate for spooky season.
Beer will be available for purchase from Grand Central
Grab your spot at the link in our bio.
Prost!
What a great first day of Oktoberfest. The Apple Strudel Band kept the energy high, while pretzels, brats, full steins, and plenty of laughter filled the beer garden from start to finish.
Thanks to everyone who joined us and helped kick things off in such a great way. We’ll see you today for round two with more music, more beer, and plenty of good times ahead!
Oktoberfest is finally here!
We’ve been counting down to this weekend all year, and it’s time to raise a stein and celebrate. The 2025 Oktoberfest Street Festival kicks off today with German-inspired lagers, traditional food, games, music, and the U.S. Steinholding Championship rounds.
Apple Strudel Oktoberfest Band takes the stage from 2-5 PM and again from 7-9 PM, so get ready for all your favorite toasts and singalongs.
If you’re hoping to grab one of this year’s limited-edition ceramic steins, don’t wait! There are only 50 available, and they always sell out fast.
We can’t wait to celebrate with you. Prost!
Sunday, October 5, Steve and Monika keep the Oktoberfest celebration rolling with a live set from 1-5 PM. Expect plenty of Bavarian tunes to pair with your steins, German food, and a true festival atmosphere in the Beer Garden.
Apple Strudel Oktoberfest Band will be here with two sets of live music tomorrow, 1-5 PM and 7-9 PM, bringing all the traditional Oktoberfest energy and plenty of “ein prosit” to raise your stein to.
We’ll also be hosting the U.S. Steinholding Association Championship rounds, along with German food, great beer, and a full day of festivities.
Oktoberfest weekend is almost here, and we couldn’t help but look back at how our GCB steins have evolved over the years. Which one is your favorite?
Now it is time to raise the next one. We have a full weekend lined up with German inspired lagers, traditional food, live music, games, and the U.S. Steinholding Championship rounds.
Pull out the lederhosen, rally your crew, and make your plans to celebrate with us.
And if you want this year’s ceramic stein, grab one starting Saturday at open, and get it while you can. Our supply is limited and they will go fast.
